Financial assistance may be available to help lower income families pay for child care, allowing parents to focus on work or school knowing their child is in a healthy, caring environment. Eligibility requirements vary depending on your state or region. School directors can provide more information on financial assistance and help with the process.

Potty Training Begins here! We begin routines and early learning.

We begin developing classroom routines, fine & large motor skills while engaging in thought provoking literature.

2.5 - 4 years (K3)
Students will engage in more daily explorations. This is the introduction to Kindergarten skills. STEAM & Social Development.

Students continue to complete grade appropriate (Kindergarten). While becoming fluent readers and critical thinkers. The courses are engaging, providing them in meaningful personal development.

2.5 - 4.5 years
This small classroom are for students who are not acclimated to larger settings and need a little more development with Communication, Academics, or Behavior. This small team environment allows for more individual contact and easier transitions into the students normal classroom setting.

1st - 5th Grade
Students participate in hybrid learning via online instruction and in-person small groups to help facilitate the required learning standards for the specified grade. Every learning approach is explored and students are given the opportunity to work one-on-one for a greater understanding.

6th - 10th Grade
Student continue working on grade appropriate standards and are introduced to a world beyond high school. Students begin young entrepreneur courses, debate club, and community service to help them mature into contributing citizens beginning in 6th grade.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Registration for new students held after the first of the year. Parents must complete the registration forms and submit all required documents (see below). There is a registration fee. Please contact Taneki Mayes at 334.549.9298 or via email at thefocuspointacademy@gmail.com for more information.

Required Documents

In order to be admitted to Focus Point Education Academy, the following must be submitted:

Application
Birth Certificate
Completed medical release form
Current copy of Immunization Records (required annually)
Reference Letter (Requested at FPEA's discretion)
Signed Acceptance Letter
If transferring from another school, the parents must sign an authorization for the transfer of records. The records should be transferred before the student begins school.

We shall process your admission and a checklist of missing items will be sent out prior to the acceptance letter. We will update you with our final decision within 10 days of receiving payment and all documentation.
